How to get the ‘Burlesque’ look

I can’t wait for Thanksgiving — and no, I’m not talking turkey!

I just can’t wait to see the incredible CHER in Burlesque, which debuts in theaters on Turkey Day. She looks sensational in the trailer. As does co-star Christina Aguilera.

And as if that weren’t enough enticement, the movie also start Stanley Tucci, the coolest, funniest guy ever.

Dressing like the Burlesque stars, even on new Year’s Eve, is probably a bit extreme. But I’m predicting plenty of fashionistas may be inspired to imitate the fab makeup. If you’re one of them, Milani Cosmetics offers these tips and tricks for getting her sultry, theatrical look.
Eyes: Use Milani’s Eye Tech Liquid Eyeliner ($7.99) in Black to line the top of the lash line. Do a small quick sweep at the outside corner of the eyes for a dramatic winged look. Top the lids off using Milani’s Runway Eyes Fashion Shadows ($8.99) in Backstage Basics. Then use Milani’s Liquif’eye Eyeliner ($6.99) on the lower lash line and carefully smudge with a Q-tip. Finish the look off with Milani’s Power Lash Mascara ($6.49).

Next, for Lips: For a bold, matte look, lacquer your lips with Milani’s HD Lipstick ($7.99) in Candy Apple. For a brighter look with more shine, use Milani’s Lip Flash Pencil ($6.99) in Hot Flash. (Love that lipstick name: Hot Flash!)
Face: To get Christina’s flawless porcelain look, use Milani’s HD Advanced Concealer ($7.99) to cover up any discoloration or blemishes. Then use Milani’s Smooth Finish Cream-to-Powder ($8.49) for an all over finish. Sweep top of cheekbones with Milani’s Mineral Blush ($6.49) in Mai-Tai.

And where do you find Milani cosmetics: at CVS drugstores and mass retailers, of course.
